A Few Words About
Our Firm
Founder, Design Director
Kevin Young
Kevin hails from a family of architects and creatives in Kingston Jamaica, and credits his Caribbean upbringing with opening his eyes to design. He learned there that Architecture is first an act of pragmatism, but, if infused with an awareness of its contextual setting, and a sense of responsibility to its society, that it acquires meaning and relevance. At its most successful, Architecture defines place and people.
His approach was honed with Architecture degrees from the University of Miami and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where his Master’s thesis explored the correlation between culture and form in the redesign of a grand urban public park in Kingston. He has practiced in leading firms in Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Miami, and Atlanta. He inherited a great love of travel from his family, and, armed with sketchbook and camera, enjoys discovering Design in all corners of the world.
